Delivery Days and Time to Deliver

SAMADEMA.LK will take every attempt to deliver the goods at the earliest possible time to the address you specify and as per you convenient date and time for delivery.
Delivery may be made within a maximum of 3 business days but in most cases within the Colombo city limits delivery will take place within 24 hours. Places outside Colombo may take a maximum of 5 business days but in most cases the time taken will not be more than 48 hours during business days.
Deliveries will not be made on mercantile holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Delivery Charges

any charge applicable to any item will be indicated against each product and the charge may differ according to the distance from Colombo and the weight/volume of the item. Most terms are delivered free within Colombo city limits and to places outside Colombo the charge may not be more than Rs. 3000/= However, you should take note of any charges appearing against the items when ordering the product.

Packaging

all items will be delivered to you in its packaging. If you find that the packaging has been tampered with or that it is damaged you should not accept the item but return same to the courier agent and contact us for a replacement delivery.

Proof of Identity and Personal presence

Items will be delivered only beyond positive proof of identity that you are the person authorized to accept the goods. You may produce your national identity card, credit card, or an authorization letter in case you are accepting the goods on behalf of someone else.

You are responsible to be present at the place of delivery as ordered by you at the date and time agreed by you when contacted by our courier agents for delivery. When the goods arrive and if you are not present at the premise at the time you agree our courier will return the items back to our stores. In which case no re-delivery will be made but the item(s) will be available at our Warehouse at No.689,High Level Road,Gangodawila,Wijerama,Nugegoda to be personally collected by you.

Acceptance of Items

You are responsible for inspecting and accepting the items upon delivery and signing the delivery order in the presence of the courier agent. You should not accept the item if you find that the item is tampered with, damaged or are unsatisfied with its appearance such as color, shape and/or weight or any other attribute.

Return/Refund Policy

Once an item has been accepted by you, we will not make any refund for Damaged Items unless If you have received the wrong product, or a product that is damaged or defective or contains a damaged or defective part. In such circumstance you may contact us to obtain return instructions, or to obtain a replacement.

If you decide not to accept the item upon its arrival and inspection by you, you shall inform that to the courier agent and also notify us via email to samadema.lk@gmail.com of your decision to not accept the item. In which case you will receive a full refund minus the cost within 7 business days or earlier.
